On Monday, April 8, Samsung debuted its much expected mid-range devices, the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G models in India. These devices, which come after the Galaxy M54 5G and Galaxy M14 5G, respectively, are the newest members of the Galaxy M series.
The Galaxy M55 5G comes in two color options, many RAM and storage combinations, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. A triple camera arrangement on the rear and capability for connected fast charging are notable features.

When it comes to details, the Galaxy M55 5G features a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
A Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM are included in the package, marking the first time that a non-flagship level smartphone has that much RAM. Moreover, 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage is included.
One UI 6.1, based on Android 14, powers the device. With up to four years of operating system upgrades and five years of security patches, Samsung is offering extended software support.
With a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter, the Galaxy M55 5G has a fairly adaptable camera configuration. The front camera also has a 50MP sensor with excellent resolution.
The smartphone is powered by a fairly powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired rapid charging. 5G support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity options. With dimensions of 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8 mm and a weight of 180g, the device has an elegant and compact design.

Pricing-wise, the base model, which has 8GB+128GB, costs Rs. 26,999. The higher-tiered variants, which have 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB listed at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively, are more expensive.
