Get ready for your next wired streaming package. Comcast will offer a three-way package of Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV+ at a deep discount later this month, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said.
The package, called StreamSaver, will be available to all Comcast broadband and TV customers, Roberts said Tuesday in a speech at the 2024 MoffettNathanson Media, Internet and Communications Conference in New York.
The three streaming services, Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV+, will “come at a vastly reduced price to anything in the market today,” Roberts said, although he didn’t reveal any pricing details. The goal is to “add value to consumers” and at the same time “take some of the dollars out of” other companies’ streaming businesses, he added, while reinforcing Comcast’s broadband service offerings.
Currently, the cheapest way to get all three streamers individually is with ad-supported Peacock Premium ($5.99/month, rising to $7.99/month in July). Netflix Basic with ads ($6.99/month). The standard Apple TV+ plan costs $9.99 per month. Note that you must already have an Xfinity Internet or Xfinity TV subscription to receive Comcast’s StreamSaver discount.
The upcoming launch of Comcast’s StreamSaver package comes as other media companies are finalizing similar deals.
Last week, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery announced his three-part package, consisting of Max, Disney+, and Hulu, which will be available in the U.S. starting this summer (price to be determined).
In addition, Disney, WBD, and Fox Corp. have formed a joint venture to launch a streaming sports package with ESPN+ and both linear TV channels, scheduled to begin this fall. Critics say the company, called Spulu (a play on Sport and Hulu), is anticompetitive and violates antitrust laws.

Comcast’s StreamSaver package launches ahead of further price increases for its standalone Peacock service and will be available to new customers ahead of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Also at the Moffett-Nathanson meeting, Roberts was asked by analyst Craig Moffett about NBC’s alleged acquisition of NBA media rights, but Roberts declined to discuss the status of the negotiations.
