Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has rolled out the Creta Knight edition in India, with prices starting from Rs. 14.50 lakh and going up to Rs. 20.14 lakh for the top variant (ex-showroom). This special edition stands out with its bold all-black design, giving it a sportier look compared to the regular Creta models.
As the country’s second-largest automaker, Hyundai has made over 21 distinct updates to differentiate the Creta Knight edition. The exterior sports a blacked-out front grille, Hyundai logos at the front and rear, and 17-inch alloy wheels with striking red brake calipers, along with blackened skid plates.
Further design tweaks include a unique Knight emblem, black side sill garnish, and blacked-out roof rails, C-pillar details, side mirrors, and a rear spoiler. The dark theme extends inside the cabin, where brass accents lend an upscale feel. The interior features exclusive black leatherette seats with brass stitching, complemented by a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever with the same detailing, adding a touch of luxury. Sporty metal pedals enhance the performance aesthetic.
For 2024, the Creta Knight edition comes with two engine choices: a 1.5L petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel engine. The petrol model offers a six-speed manual or an iVT transmission, while the diesel version is available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. Both engines are available in the S(O) and SX(O) trims.
At the launch, Tarun Garg, Hyundai Motor India Limited’s Whole-Time Director & Chief Operating Officer, described the Creta Knight edition as more than just an SUV. He called it a bold expression of power and elegance, with an aggressive design that delivers a thrilling driving experience. Garg also emphasized that the Creta Knight edition marks a significant milestone for the company, blending luxury, performance, and an assertive road presence to meet customer expectations.
Hyundai also offers customization options for the Creta Knight edition. Buyers can opt for the Titan Grey matte finish at an additional cost of Rs. 5,000, or go for a two-tone color scheme for an extra Rs. 15,000, further enhancing the vehicle’s distinctive style.
