This is Taylor Swift’s time of gratitude.
Taylor’s new book honoring the Eras Tour enters stores on December 8, one day after Thanksgiving, and before the singer wraps up her record-breaking tour. The 34-year-old also divulges a number of behind-the-scenes details regarding how the historic concert was organized.
Consider the reasons behind Taylor’s decision to feature “Enchanted,” the only song from her Speak Now era, in the performance.
“Even though it was never chosen as a single, the fans made sure it became one of the most recognizable songs from that album (this is one of my favorite things they have tended to do over the years!),” she wrote of the song. “In a dreamscape of purple twinkling lights, ballet and ball gowns, I wanted to elicit that midsummer haze of intrigue we feel when we lock eyes with someone across a room.”
However, playing her Midnights song “Vigilante S–t” is her favorite “moment” of the entire concert, according to The Eras Tour Book.
