Steph Curry’s record-breaking streak continues. The Golden State Warriors beat the Utah Jazz 123-116 in Salt Lake City on Saturday, with the superstar guard making a three-pointer for the 158th consecutive game, breaking his own NBA record.
In November 2016, Curry set a new record by shooting a three-pointer in 157 consecutive games.
In December, Curry, 33, broke Ray Allen’s record of 2,973 three-pointers in 1,300 games. It only took the Warriors great 789 games to overtake Allen’s record.
Curry stated after breaking Allen’s mark late last year, “I never wanted to call myself the greatest shooter until I got this record, so I’m comfortable saying that now.”
“He’s on his own level, one he made for himself,” Allen said quickly of Curry.
Curry had 28 points and nine assists in Saturday’s win, which came after the Warriors squandered a 16-point lead in the second half before rallying from an eight-point deficit to beat the Jazz.
“if you don’t like Curry you don’t like basketball,” MVP Nikola Jokic told Serbia’s Arenasport in an interview aired on Saturday.
DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls, on the other hand, was busy setting NBA records on Saturday.
