What could be spookier than some Halloween-related nostalgia?
The fast food restaurant business McDonald’s has announced the return of its classic Halloween Pails, a long-running tradition that was introduced in 1986. According to a press release issued by McDonald’s on Thursday, the adorable buckets will be available once more starting on October 18. White McBoo, orange McPunk’n, and green McGoblin are the three variations.
As long as stocks continue, they will be available through October 31, according to McDonald’s. If you want a Happy Meal, you must buy one.
According to McDonald’s, the lovely, vintage-style buckets are useful for more than just holding candy during trick-or-treating. The chain featured followers who had recycled the buckets into house decor, improvised drums, and planters.
This isn’t McDonald’s first attempt this fall to appeal to customers’ fond memories. The company unveiled a “adult Happy Meal” at the end of September, featuring several of its well-known mascots, like Grimace and the Hamburglar.
