Jimin and Taeyang, two singers from South Korea, are working on a new song together.
On Wednesday, the song “Vibe,” which features Jimin, a member of the boy band BTS, was announced by Taeyang, a member of the K-pop group Big Bang.
In the teaser image for “Vibe,” Taeyang and Jimin are seen posing together in black outfits with red accents.
The song will be out on January 13 by Taeyang.
With a teaser image and the words “coming soon,” the singer announced the new solo project on Monday.
Daesung, G-Dragon, and T.O.P. are also part of Big Bang. Daesung left YG Entertainment in December, and G-Dragon was expected to be the only Big Bang member to stay with the company.
“Vibe” will be released by Taeyang and The Black Label, YG’s associate company.
In contrast, BTS announced in October that it would take a break while its members completed their mandatory military service in South Korea and concentrated on their individual careers. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, V, and Jungkook round out the group.
