A new HDR10+ feature for Netflix shows and movies elevates Samsung’s home entertainment

Samsung Electronics has announced a major enhancement for its smart TVs and monitors, bringing a more immersive viewing experience with the integration of HDR10+ support for Netflix movies and shows. This advancement allows viewers to enjoy their favorite Netflix titles with deeper contrast, richer colors, and greater visual depth, making on-screen content appear more lifelike than ever before.

HDR10+ is an advanced high dynamic range (HDR) technology pioneered by Samsung, designed to deliver superior picture quality by dynamically adjusting brightness and contrast on a scene-by-scene basis. Unlike static HDR formats, HDR10+ optimizes every frame individually, ensuring enhanced clarity, detail, and color accuracy while staying true to the filmmaker’s artistic vision.

The feature will be supported on Samsung’s 2025 Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TV models, as well as on 2025 and select 2024 monitors, ensuring a premium visual experience across various displays. Samsung has also hinted at further expanding HDR10+ compatibility to additional models in the future.
