Revolt Motors has introduced the RV BlazeX, expanding its lineup of electric motorcycles in the Indian market. This new electric two-wheeler comes with a starting price of ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and shares some components with the brand’s entry-level RV1. However, the BlazeX stands out with a more powerful electric motor, drawing energy from the same battery pack that powers the RV1+.
The company has already opened bookings for the RV BlazeX, allowing interested buyers to reserve the bike by paying a token amount of ₹499. Deliveries are set to commence from March 1.
In terms of design, the BlazeX exhibits some resemblance to the RV1, particularly with its round headlamp and a muscular panel in place of the conventional fuel tank, which comes with shrouds for added styling. The motorcycle is further enhanced with a single-piece seat and a grab rail at the rear. Buyers can choose from two striking paint schemes—Sterling Silver Black and Eclipse Red Black.
To make the BlazeX more appealing, Revolt Motors has equipped the bike with several advanced features, including a six-inch LCD screen, three riding modes, a reverse mode, regenerative braking, and app-based connectivity features like GPS tracking and geofencing.
Mechanically, the suspension setup consists of telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride. The braking system includes 240 mm disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, a setup that mirrors the RV1.
Regarding dimensions, the BlazeX shares some key measurements with the RV1, such as a seat height of 790 mm, a wheelbase of 1350 mm, and a ground clearance of 80 mm. However, it is slightly heavier, weighing 113 kg, which is 3 kg more than the RV1.
Under the hood, the RV BlazeX is powered by a 3.24 kWh battery pack, which fuels a stronger 4.1 kW electric motor-a notable upgrade from the RV1’s 2.8 kW motor. This setup delivers 5.49 bhp and 45 Nm of torque, ensuring better performance. The battery provides an estimated range of 150 km on a full charge, which is 10 km less than the RV1.
