Calendar items, notifications, and other details are said to be displayed in a high-contrast layout similar to that of an Amazon Echo Show or Google Nest Hub. It is said that the new lock screen is more advanced than the one that Google added to Android 10 in 2019 and is comparable to a feature on an Amazon Fire tablet.
Apple has already declined to provide a response. iOS 17 is expected to be unveiled by the company on June 5 at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), and the final version should be available by September. There’s no notice of whether the iPad would comparable usefulness, in spite of the fact that iPadOS has lingered behind iOS in highlights like lock screen customization.
