For the first time in over three years, Wendy's has introduced a new Frosty flavour. For a limited time, the fast-food company announced that the Strawberry Frosty would be joining the Chocolate Frosty. Frosty fans know and adore the "creamy, delectable texture Frosty fans know and love with the flavour of sweet strawberry, perfectly encapsulating the taste of summertime," according to the business. "We're always listening to our fans and as the most-requested item, it was a no-brainer for us to bring the Strawberry Frosty to the menu this season," Carl Loredo, Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy's Company, stated. "While some of our competitors are still trying to get their ice cream machines to work, fans can dip into this new strawberry treat all summer long at Wendy's." For a short time, Strawberry Frosty will take the place of Vanilla Frosty. Wendy's has stated that the popular item would be reinstated following the campaign. The move marks a significant shift for Wendy's, which does not frequently switch up its Frosty varieties. In honour of Wendy's 50th birthday, the fast-food business released a Birthday Cake Frosty in 2019. In 2006, vanilla was introduced to menus. When strawberry Frosties were introduced to menus in Canada last year, they were a hit. Wendy's also announced on Monday that the seasonal Strawberry Chicken Salad will be available again for a limited period.
