Apple published the invitation for its October 30 “Scary fast” online event on Tuesday evening. The event will start at 5 a.m. PT. According to appearances, it is going to be mainly a Mac event. The title “Scary fast” also suggests a potential release using an M3 chip. On October 31, the event can be seen in India starting at 5.30 am. It will be broadcast live on both Apple’s YouTube channel and official website.
Apple has officially revealed the date of its upcoming event amid all the rumors of a new product launch. And don’t expect Tim Cook to say “Good morning” for this one.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on X (formerly Twitter) that he thinks the M3 series MacBook Pro will be the main topic of the Oct. 30th media presentation. According to Kuo, the goal is to increase MacBook shipping numbers, which decreased in 2023.
I think this is the reason Apple could prefer to introduce the M3 series MacBook Pro even though its volume of production is still small rather than keep distributing the M2 series MacBook Pro. The M3 should theoretically provide a more notable increase in processing power, he continued.
Early in August, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg revealed that Apple has been testing 14-inch and 16-inch M3 Max and M3 Pro MacBook Pros. A M3 iMac from Apple was reportedly in the works for a time. Aside from the processor upgrade, no significant modifications can be anticipated, according to Gurman.
The announcement is probably going to be big, as Apple is holding an event rather than just releasing a press release, and it appears quite certain that the third Apple silicon is due soon. However, until Apple says otherwise, nothing is guaranteed.
On October 31, the event can be seen in India starting at 5.30 am. It will be broadcast live on both Apple’s YouTube channel and official website.
For the first time since 2018, Apple will be releasing its quarterly financial results on November 2. Normally, the financials are disclosed in late October.
