A month after revealing its new iPhone 15 lineup, Apple announced its second product event of the year. There will probably be new iMacs.
Media invites were sent out by the business for a keynote that was scheduled for Monday, October 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, later than usual for the start of events. Apple typically organises both in-person and online product introductions, but this one will only be available via livestream.
“Scary fast” is the event’s slogan, which is an obvious reference to both Halloween and the upcoming M3 silicon chip launch. New iMac devices with the new potent chipset are anticipated to be unveiled by the firm, which should increase Mac sales. This year, fewer Macs were sold.
According to market research company IDC, “Weak demand, excess inventory, and a worsening macroeconomic climate were all contributing factors for the precipitous drop in shipments of traditional PCs.”
Apple added the M2 chip to its MacBook range last year. At this year’s Apple event, the M3 chip is expected to be included in the 24-inch iMac. There are no rumours of the release of a new iPad at this time.
In 2020, Apple (AAPL) launched its first in-house M1 silicon chipset for its computer lineup, breaking with years of using an Intel all-in-one solution. Apple (AAPL) asserted that it had the fastest CPU core and integrated graphics in a personal computer at the time.
Apple introduced its iPhone 15 models last month, with a smaller design, a more advanced main camera system, a customizable Action button, and USB-C charging.
