Today, Audi India announced the Q7 Bold Edition’s arrival in the local market, with a price tag of Rs. 97.84 lakh (ex-showroom). This comes less than two weeks after the Q3 and Q3 Sportback’s introduction of the same limited edition. Slightly more than Rs. 3 lakh separates the Q7 Bold Edition from the base Q7’s top-tier trim.
The Q7 Bold Edition receives several upgrades over the standard model and will be sold in limited quantities by the premium auto manufacturer with headquarters in Ingolstadt. It receives a black finished front grille piece, a glossy black Audi insignia, black ORVMs, black window surrounds, and roof rails as part of the Black Styling Pack, in addition to other upgrades that provide a sharper overall stance.
It utilizes equipment from the Technology grade, such as the 18-speaker B&O audio system, four-zone automated climate control system, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting feature, and lane departure warning. Audi has unveiled the limited edition in four distinct color combinations: Navarra Blue, Samurai Grey, Mythos Black, and Glacier White.
The Audi Q7 Bold Edition’s 3.0L V6 petrol engine, which is sufficient to generate a maximum power output of 340 horsepower, powers the vehicle mechanically without any modifications. Audi’s Quattro AWD system sends power to all four wheels as standard from the powerplant through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it has seven drive modes: Individual, Off-Road, All-Road, Comfort, Dynamic, and Auto.
On the other hand, the ex-showroom prices of the Q3 Bold Edition and Q3 Sportback Bold Edition are Rs. 54.65 lakh and Rs. 55.71 lakh, respectively. Similar to the Q7 Bold Edition, the Bold Edition has numerous new functions along with aesthetic upgrades over their basic variants. It’s been a trend for the past few years for manufacturers to introduce limited editions with a black theme.
The 2.0L four-cylinder TFSI engine, which produces 320 Nm of peak torque and 190 horsepower at its peak, powers both versions. It is connected to an automated transmission that distributes power to all four wheels via the Quattro All-Wheel Drive system.
