Atlanta Braves pitcher Charlie Morton experienced a heartbreaking injury in Game 1 of the World Series against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.
Morton got given the ball in order to get the Braves off to start on their mission for a title and he was dealing. He was amidst the third inning with three strikeouts, two walks and only one hit permitted when he was managed a unfortunate blow.
The veteran who has pitched in enormous spots in a few postseason games all through his career came up faltering in the third inning with one out. He seemed to experience the injury in the second inning when he took a line drive off his leg.
