On January 2, the box office earnings for the Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran film “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” drastically decreased. The movie is headed for a global total of Rs 650 crore.
Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, the massively expensive film starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, saw a sharp decline in box office receipts on Tuesday, January 2. The action movie, which continues to compete for over Rs 650 crore globally, is directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” fame. Since its publication, this is ‘Salaar’s’ first significant fall in the collection. Since there aren’t any significant releases in any languages, the movie will continue to run till Pongal or Sankranti.
‘SALAAR’ Witnesses Major DIP in Collection:
Globally, “Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire” debuted in theaters on December 22 in five different languages. The movie released in theaters on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki,” which came out on December 21.
At its second week, Prabhas’ “Salaar” is still doing magic at theaters. On January 2, the movie’s ticket sales experienced a significant decline for the first time since its debut. According to preliminary estimates, the movie took in Rs 7.50 crore in India, which is over half of what it took in on January 1.
At this point, “Salaar’s” 12-day total revenue stands at Rs 369.42 crore. Additionally, the movie is slowly approaching the Rs 650-crore worldwide. The Telugu version of “Salaar” had a 20.15 percent occupancy rate in India as of January 2.

The action-packed drama “Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire” is written and directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” fame. With this movie, Prashanth and the movie’s heroes, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumran, work together for the first time. In addition to them, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Sriya Reddy, and a number of other actors play significant roles in the movie.
“Shouryanga Parvam” is the title of the second section of the movie, Salaar: Part 2. We’re currently waiting on information on the sequel’s filming.
