In a thrilling final round at the 2023 LIV Golf Jeddah presented by ROSHN, Brooks Koepka from Smash GC successfully defended his title. Koepka clinched victory with a crucial birdie on the second playoff hole on the 18th, overcoming a remarkable charge by Talor Gooch from RangeGoats GC. Gooch’s outstanding final round of eight-under par earned him the 2023 individual champion title but led to a playoff for the Jeddah trophy.
Talor Gooch secured the season’s Individual Champion title with his impressive final-round performance. Bryson DeChambeau from Crushers GC, who fell to fourth place in the season standings, finished 16th after a level-par final round. Ripper GC’s captain, Cam Smith, secured the second spot in the overall season standings, while Koepka advanced to third with his Jeddah victory.
Scott Vincent from Ironheads GC made a noteworthy move with a fourth-place finish at LIV Golf Jeddah, securing his LIV Golf status for the 2024 season. Richard Bland of Cleeks GC also had a strong week, finishing 14th and ensuring his place in the LIV Golf League for the upcoming season.
In the team event, Fireballs GC, led by Sergio Garcia, claimed victory, finishing at 34-under par, ahead of RangeGoats GC and Cleeks GC, who achieved their first podium finish of the season.
Looking ahead to the team championship in Miami, 4Aces GC leads the standings, followed by Crushers GC, Torque GC, and RangeGoats GC. The top four teams will automatically advance to the semifinals at the LIV Golf Team Championship, promising an exciting conclusion to the 2023 LIV Golf season.
