In 2018, DJ Snake released the song “Taki Taki” six months before Taki Taki entered the NFL. It felt like a missed opportunity because a formal partnership with the linebacker never materialized.
Over five years later, some of that has been fixed thanks to Takis and his famous rolled tortilla chips.
In a series of social media posts, Taki Taki and his wife Alyssa announced their partnership with the snack brand.

Takitaki was a standout linebacker at BYU from 2014–18 before starting his NFL career.
Takitaki racked up 145 total tackles, 96 solo stops, 33.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles in his tenure with the Cougars.
In the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Takitaki was chosen by the Browns with the 80th overall choice, after finishing his college career.
Takitaki recorded 66 total stops in 2023, including 45 solo tackles, two sacks, one interception, and three pass breakups. This helped the Browns qualify for the NFL Playoffs. In the postseason, he recorded one solo tackle and three total tackles.
Over his five seasons in the league, Takitaki has collected 269 total tackles, 157 solo tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, four pass breakups, and one score. He played in 72 Browns games.
