On Sunday night, actor Deepika Padukone attended the 77th BAFTA Film Awards 2024. She gave actor Jonathan Glazer of The Zone of Interest the Best Film Not in the English Language award. In addition to Jonathan Glazer, the following films were nominated for the same category: Society of the Snow, Anatomy of a Fall, Past Lives, and 20 Days in Mariupol.

Deepika dressed for the occasion in a dazzling saree with sequins all over it that had hues of gold and silver. She wore it with a strappy-sleeved matching blouse. The actor wore big earrings and a messy bun for his look.

Amid cheers from the crowd, Deepika took the stage to present the award. The awards were streamed live on Lionsgate Play in India. The London Royal Festival Hall served as the venue for the event. Hugh Grant, Lily Collins, David Beckham, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh, and Dua Lipa were among the other presenters on the list.

Among the guests at the occasion were Prince William, Florence Pugh, Andrew Scott, Emma Stone, and Robert Downey Jr. Deepika represented India as a presenter at the Oscars after making a major impression there the previous year.

Result of the BAFTA Awards:
Oppenheimer took home seven awards at the function, including best actor, director, and film. The Zone of Interest took home three awards, while Poor Things took home five. For Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan received his first Best Director BAFTA, and Cillian Murphy took home the Best Actor honors.
Playing the wild and lively Bella Baxter in the steampunk-style visual spectacular Poor Things, which took home awards for production design, visual effects, cosmetics and hair, and costume design, earned Emma Stone the title of best actress.
