This week’s Wonderlust event, when Apple unveiled the eagerly anticipated iPhone 15 series, was a delight for tech enthusiasts. Many other companies, like Skyball, Honor, and Fire Boltt, introduced their new products in India amid the commotion surrounding the Apple event.
Series 15 of the Apple iPhone
The Apple “Wondelust” event, held on September 12 at the campus of the tech giant in California, introduced the iPhone 15 series, which includes the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to reports, a USB Type-C charging port has replaced the 12-year-old Lightning port on all of Apple’s most recent iPhone models.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have been released with an improved body design consisting of aluminum, a ceramic shield, and glass with color-infused edges on the front and back, respectively. In India, the iPhone 15 is expected to start at Rs 79,900, while the iPhone 15 Plus will cost Rs 89,900.
The starting price for the iPhone 15 Pro, on the other hand, will be Rs 1,34,900 for the 256GB internal storage model, while the price for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, for the 1TB internal storage model, will be Rs 1,59,900.
5G Honor 90
With the recently released HONOR 90 5G, the Chinese tech company HONOR has returned to the Indian market. Although having a May global launch, the device launched on September 14 in India.
The back camera arrangement on the HONOR 90 5G has a 200-MP primary sensor, while the front camera has a 50-MP lens. The device’s battery has a 5,000 mAh capacity and supports 66W fast charging. It offers up to 512GB of storage and comes with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM as choices.
The HONOR 90 5G is offered on Amazon in the colors green, black, and silver. The cost ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000.
Series 9 of the Apple Watch
At the Apple launch event, the Watch Series 9 was unveiled in addition to the iPhone 15 series. The iWatch has a 1.9-inch screen with a Retina LTPO OLED display with a brightness rating of 2000 nits.
The new Series 9 gesture of double-tapping the watch to operate it is supported. The Watch’s double-tap feature can be used to answer calls and manage other features as well. In India, the price ranges from Rs 41,900 to Rs 80,900.
The Elevate and Rigor of Skyball
In response to Skyball’s declaration that it would shortly enter the wearable market, the Elevate and Rigor smartwatches have been introduced in India.
Rigor comes with a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen and twin Digital Crown controls in a premium metal chassis. Rigor’s screen has a brightness of 1000 nits and a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. The Elevate smartwatch, on the other hand, sports an attractive metal shell with a rotary crown and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. It includes features like voice calling, Bluetooth connectivity, and support for both Android and iOS devices.
While Elevate is available for Rs 2,999 and comes in Black, Teal, and Moon Light Grey colors, Rigor is only available in two color versions, Silver and Black, and is priced at Rs 3,599.
Solaris Fire-bolt smartwatch
Fire-Boltt The Solaris smartwatch is a fashionable timepiece with a durable stainless-steel case, a rectangular dial, and a digital crown. It makes use of a 1.78-inch AMOLED screen. In addition to its sporty features, Solaris boasts a computerized voice assistant that enables hands-free operation. It records heart rate, sleep, and blood oxygen levels (SpO2) to track health statistics.
In India, the Fire Boltt Solaris smartwatch will be on sale on September 16 for Rs 2.499.
