Microsoft launched its AI-powered consumer assistant, Copilot Pro, in January and is now expanding its $20 monthly subscription to other markets. Copilot Pro is now available in 222 countries as a result of the expansion, and Microsoft is encouraging customers to subscribe to its AI future by offering a free one-month trial.
If you currently have Microsoft 365 Personal or Home, Copilot Pro gives you access to Copilot inside Office products, special access to the newest OpenAI models, and the opportunity to create your own Copilot GPT. In order to use the chatbot inside Word, Outlook, and other free web apps, you no longer need a separate Microsoft 365 subscription as Microsoft is now unlocking Copilot Pro inside the Office web apps.
Soon, there will be a mobile app version with this Copilot Pro interaction. The Microsoft 365 app and Outlook for iOS and Android are two examples of the free mobile apps that will have this benefit in the upcoming months, according to Divya Kumar, general manager of search and AI marketing at Microsoft.
The Copilot app for iOS or Android must be installed in order to receive the free month offer if you would like to test out Copilot Pro. Ever since the Copilot mobile app was released at the end of 2023, Microsoft has been making an effort to get users to use it. One such attempt was a Super Bowl commercial that only highlighted the mobile version.
Additionally, Microsoft is expanding the number of enterprises that can use its Copilot for Microsoft 365. “In the upcoming weeks, customers who have Microsoft 365 F3 and F1, Office 365 E1, Business Basic, and more will be able to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365,” says Kumar.
Microsoft is now preparing to unveil other Copilot enhancements in the upcoming months, including some Windows 11 changes that will probably be covered in full at the business’s Build developer conference in May.
