An online article writing startup called Writerbuddy.ai recently conducted a poll and found that ChatGPT is the most popular generative AI tool globally, with over 14 billion visits between September 2022 and August 2023.

Using SEMrush, a well-known SEO tool, Writerbuddy examined over 3,000 artificial intelligence products to identify the most popular tools of the year. Over 24 billion people visited the top 50 AI tools combined, with men making up the majority of these visits.

Users of ChatGPT continue to use the generative tool amid some negative publicity this year, including Sam Altman’s leadership change and possibly dangerous AI advancements.
