Date of Dune: Part Two Streaming
Dune: Part Two will ultimately be released on Max rather than Netflix or Disney+.
Dune does not have a streaming release date yet. Dune (2021) was released in theaters and Max at the same time, but that’s not the case with this year’s sequel. The length of time between a Warner Bros. film’s theatrical and max release is determined by its length and success at the box office. As for the possible release date, it could go to 2023 according to Warner’s release schedule. Most of his movies reached Max’s theaters 60 to 90 days after their theatrical release, but the big outlier was Barbie, which took him 147 days to reach Max’s theaters. Dune: Part 2 probably won’t match the success of Barbie, but it’s poised to surpass most (if not all) of his other 2023 films at Warner. Therefore, it is expected that it will be released on Max 3-4 months after its theatrical release and will be available for streaming between June 2024 and July 2024.
What Is Dune: Part Two About?
As a direct sequel to 2021’s Dune, Dune: Part Two is based on Frank Herbert’s iconic fantasy book.
