How To Watch The Nominations For 81st Golden Globe Awards

The nominations for the 81st Golden Globe Awards are due on Monday, December 11. The awards will be given out the following month. This is a how-to guide for viewing the reveal.

The nominees will be revealed by Wilmer Valderrama and Cedric the Entertainer at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT. A half-hour later, live coverage of the 10 categories will be unveiled exclusively on CBS Mornings, followed by the trophy finalists at CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes. As the nominees are announced, they will be featured on all Golden Globes social media sites.

On Sunday, January, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, CBS will broadcast the event live coast-to-coast, following an NFL doubleheader. The Golden Globes will be shown on the Eye network for the first time in more than 40 years. Paramount+ will also broadcast it live.

The Globes have a long history with NBC, and this new broadcast deal returns the ceremony to the network where it first aired in 1981 and 1982. With the Grammy Awards and the Golden Globes, which will be presented on Sunday, February 4, it gives CBS two of the biggest TV award ceremonies.

This year saw the launch of two new film and television award categories: Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures. These awards will be given out for the first time at the 2024 Globes event on January 7.

The 81st annual awards will be organised, hosted, and produced by Dick Clark Productions. Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner will serve as showrunners. Weiss will helm the telecast as well.
