The top male golfers from the United States and Europe will compete in Italy at the end of the month.
The Ryder Cup, a twice-a-year match-play game between American and European golfers, will begin on September 29 and last until October 1.
This year’s Ryder Cup will be held in Europe instead of the United States, which will host the event at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin in 2021. More precisely, the 2023 Ryder Cup will be held at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club south of Rome, featuring some of the best golfers in the world.
The American team will try to win their second straight match. With one tie (1989), Team Europe leads the Americans 11-9 since the inclusion of continental Europe (rather than just Great Britain and Ireland) in the game in 1979.
