Indus Battle Royale will be launched on October 16 by India-based SuperGaming

SuperGaming, an Indian video game developer, has unveiled its latest battle royale mobile game titled Indus, set to launch on October 16 for both Android and iOS devices. This new release aims to refresh the typical battle royale format by introducing an innovative dual victory condition and a unique gameplay feature called “Grudge.” The Grudge feature will allow players to track down and challenge opponents who have previously defeated them, adding a new layer of competitive tension.

Set against a futuristic backdrop, Indus takes place on the enigmatic planet Indus, blending visual elements inspired by ancient civilizations. Players will step into the roles of elite operatives known as Mythwalkers, who are under the command of a powerful criminal syndicate called COVEN. The primary mission for players will involve gathering a rare resource called Cosmium while surviving against other competitors on Virlok, a floating island map on the planet Indus. This terrain is dynamic, shifting with storms known as Nirvana, which constantly alter the landscape, adding to the game’s intensity and unpredictability.

The game features a rich selection of Indian-inspired characters, such as Morni, Pokhran, Sirtaj, Heena, and Mech-Balika, with players having access to a wide array of futuristic weapons and vehicles to enhance their combat strategies.

What sets Indus apart is its unique dual victory condition. Players can either outlast their rivals in traditional battle royale fashion or focus on securing the rare resource Cosmium, which only spawns in the final circle of Nirvana. This added dynamic encourages a balance between strategic gameplay and direct combat, offering players multiple paths to victory. The option to prioritize survival or race for Cosmium introduces a new level of depth to the game.

Additionally, Indus introduces the Grudge system, allowing players to seek revenge on those who have previously defeated them in the game. This mechanism adds a tactical element, with players able to choose between two roles during a match: Hunter and Defender. The Hunter is directed by the game to track their target, while the Defender receives alerts about the incoming threat, leading to strategic confrontations. This feature allows players to declare a vendetta against an individual or squad, but it functions outside of the main battle royale gameplay, ensuring it does not interfere with the primary action.

Moreover, the game will include 4v4 and 2v2 team deathmatch options, adding variety to the multiplayer experience and further enhancing the competitive atmosphere. With its fresh approach and new features, Indus promises to offer an engaging battle royale experience that blends strategy, combat, and revenge in an exciting futuristic setting.
