It’s finally here: the manual for the Pagani Huayra

Much like the Zonda, Pagani seems poised to continue crafting unique iterations of the Huayra hypercar as long as there is customer demand. We’ve previously seen models like the Codalunga, the Imola, and the Huayra R. Now, Pagani is unveiling a new variant at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it boasts a manual transmission.

Yes, you read that correctly-this is the first-ever Pagani Huayra equipped with a manual gearbox. Dubbed the Huayra Epitome, this version represents the pinnacle of Pagani’s engineering prowess. It was commissioned by a particularly affluent client who desired a Huayra with a manual shifter. The seven-speed transmission, sourced from Xtrac, features the “latest triple-disc clutch for enhanced torque transmission.” This gearbox is set in a striking aluminum open gate, reminiscent of the Utopia model.

Powering the seven-speed manual is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 engine from Mercedes-AMG, producing 852 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, with a rev limit of 6,700 rpm. The Huayra Epitome matches the Utopia in terms of power, achieving a top speed of 217.5 miles per hour. It features a sophisticated six-way titanium exhaust system that not only amplifies the engine’s roar but also incorporates a blown diffuser for added downforce.

Additionally, the suspension system has been refined, reducing pitch and roll compared to the standard Huayra. Pagani has introduced a “Super Soft” mode to maintain comfort during leisurely drives around places like Monaco or Lake Como, though this mode deactivates automatically at 93 mph.

The exterior design has received subtle modifications, including new front and rear bumpers with LED lighting accents and an enlarged grille for improved airflow. A prominent integrated rear wing adorns the trunk lid, and the entire body is enveloped in a dark blue carbon fiber weave. Gold accents and gold wheels complete the luxurious appearance.

This unique vehicle was constructed by Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni special vehicles division, taking nine months to plan and an additional 10 months to build. However, if you are hoping to acquire one, you are out of luck-this Huayra Epitome is a one-of-a-kind creation.
