Kriti Sanon, who plays Janaki in the Om Raut-directed film, was featured in new Adipurush posters that were released on Saturday morning. The actress is shown in a close-up on one of the posters. Prabhas, the film’s lead actor, appears in the background on the other poster. Om Raut’s Adipurush stars Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. The film is based on the Ramayana. Lankesh, the antagonist, is played by Saif Ali Khan in the film as well.
At the Tribeca Film Festival, the film will have its world premiere. “Looking forward to Adipurush being premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 13th” was the caption on a new Adipurush poster that the makers shared to announce the news.
The mystery of Adipurush delivered last year and the VFX of the film was generally condemned. NY VFXwala, a studio founded by Ajay Devgn, issued a statement distancing itself from the film after the CGI-heavy teaser received significant criticism last year. NY VFXwala, a leading VFX studio, has clarified that they have not worked on the CG and special effects for Adipurush and will not. An authority note for their benefit explained, ‘we are putting this on record since we have been asked by a couple of media individuals,'” read the proclamation tweeted by Taran Adarsh.
On June 16 of this year, the epic will be shown in 3D and IMAX in movie theaters. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles produced the film, which Om Raut directed.
In theaters, Adipurush will be shown in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was at first scheduled to deliver on August 11 last year. However, in order to avoid clashing with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, the producers moved its release date, which the actor thanked the makers of Adipurush for.
