The NBA today announced that, as part of the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, it will collaborate with two regional charities located in Indiana, Special Olympics Indiana and Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, in order to help promote and fund each organization. These are the specifics:
- Special Olympics Indiana will be represented by the Eastern Conference All-Stars.
- For the benefit of the Indianapolis Boys & Girls Clubs, the Western Conference All-Stars will play.
- Starting with $100,000 each, each organization will receive an additional $240,000 to be given to the winning team’s charity at the All-Star Game.
- Additionally, $1,900 will be contributed through the NBA Cares State Farm Assist Tracker program for each on-court assist during the All-Star Game. The money will be divided equally between the two charities.
