On Monday, Kawasaki introduced the Ninja ZX-4R in India, with an ex-showroom price of 8.49 lakh. The high-performance fully-faired motorcycle costs a lot because it is imported to India as a completely built unit (CBU). In the company’s India lineup, the sportsbike is positioned between the Ninja 650 and Ninja 400. According to Kawasaki, the bike will begin to be delivered in the first week of October, just in time for the holiday season.
The larger siblings Ninja ZX-10R and Ninjz ZX-6R served as inspiration for the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R.
Only one color, Metallic Spark Black, is offered for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R, which is only offered in one model. This model has the same racing DNA as the others in Kawasaki India’s lineup. According to the manufacturer, the Ninja ZX-4R’s handling characteristics are comparable to those of its larger siblings, the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninjz ZX-6R.
A 399 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke inline four engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch to power the sporty-looking sportsbike. At 14,500 rpm, the engine produces 76 bhp of peak power, which can be boosted to 79 horsepower. At 13,000 rpm, the engine produces 39 Nm of torque. This makes it the model with the greatest power in the 400 cc category.
It has front forks that are completely adjustable and a rear shock absorber for suspension. The bike comes with dual 290 mm front disc brakes and 220 mm rear disc brakes, along with dual-channel ABS, and is built on a high-tensile Trellis frame. On 17-inch alloy wheels, it travels.
The bike is given an angular and sculpted appearance and has design features like twin all-LED headlamps and a taillight that is modeled after the Ninja ZX-10R. The turn indicators are also LED-equipped. It has integrated riding modes, including Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider, and a fully digital instrument cluster. According to Kawasaki, choosing a level of traction control and power mode to suit the riding circumstances is made simple by these several modes.
