Nothing, the consumer tech company founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, has unveiled the back design of its first smartphone, the Phone 1. In a tweet, Pei stated, “Leaks are harder to contain nowadays and many of you have been waiting for a long time.” “All right, here it is.” On July 12th, during Nothing’s next event, the phone will be officially unveiled.
The image backs up some of the reports about the phone’s design that have been circulating. The phone has lighting light strips on the back, which look to be made of transparent material, as Pei previously confirmed.
Nothing teased the arrangement of these light strips at a previous event. Surprisingly, a logo can be found in the centre of the phone’s back, which resembles the silhouette of a cartoon bomb.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, wireless charging, and a modified version of Android known as Nothing OS are among the phone’s other confirmed features. Nothing, without a doubt, intends to gradually divulge more details in the lead up to the phone’s official announcement next month.
