Lemon Tree Hotels has unveiled plans for its newest addition, Lemon Tree Hotel in Nashik, which will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The property is set to welcome guests in FY 2026 and will offer a range of amenities including 57 tastefully designed rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a banquet hall, a spa, a swimming pool, and a meeting space. Positioned near the renowned Sula Vineyards, the hotel is conveniently located 33 kilometers from Nashik Airport and 28 kilometers from Nashik Railway Station, making it easily accessible for both leisure and business travelers.
Nashik, a dynamic city located in the state of Maharashtra, is known for its rich cultural and religious significance. Nestled on the banks of the sacred River Godavari, Nashik holds a prominent place in Hindu mythology and is home to revered pilgrimage sites like Panchavati and Ram Kund. The city is also one of the venues for the Kumbh Mela, a major Hindu festival that occurs once every 12 years and attracts millions of devotees. In addition to its religious heritage, Nashik is often referred to as the “Napa Valley of India” and is regarded as the country’s “Wine Capital,” with over half of India’s vineyards and wineries located within the region. The city’s thriving wine industry and agricultural output play a key role in contributing to India’s economy, while its scenic landscapes and historical attractions offer visitors a perfect blend of spirituality, culture, and nature.
Commenting on the new hotel, Vilas Pawar, CEO of Managed and Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion of their presence in Maharashtra. He highlighted Nashik’s rising popularity as a destination for vineyard tourism and noted that this would be the second Lemon Tree property in the city, complementing the brand’s growing footprint in the state. The new hotel will join the chain’s 12 operational properties in Maharashtra, with another already under development.
