Today, the OnePlus 13 officially announced that it will launch globally in January 2025 after making its debut in China in October. However, the announcement did not specify a precise date of release.
Pete Lau formally announced that the OnePlus 13 will be released outside of China in January 2025 in a post on the OnePlus Community today. Although the precise date was not stated, it is expected to be early in the month because the smartphone was released sooner in China than the OnePlus 12 was last year.
Lau says:
That’s not all. I’m thrilled to share that in January 2025, we’ll unveil the OnePlus 13, our next flagship. It’s going to be an experience that redefines excellence, and I can’t wait for you to be part of it.
The global release of the OnePlus 13 may occur around January 5, according to a landing page on the company’s website.
In addition to bringing hardware upgrades like new cameras, a flat display, and more, the OnePlus 13 will be among the first smartphones to come out in the US with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The post’s remaining content celebrates OnePlus’ 11th anniversary by summarizing 2024 releases, including the OnePlus 12, Buds 3 Pro, Watch 2, and more. In reference to OxygenOS’s upcoming AI features, “collaborating with Google” is referenced in the teaser for 2025.
