Prabhas has a lot riding on Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire because it’s been a while since a movie energised both the crowd and the theatre owners. However, it appears like everyone will have to wait a little longer as rumour has it that the movie has been delayed.
According to rumours, filmmaker Prashanth Neel is unhappy with how the VFX work turned out and wants to redo it, which will take time.
The movie will reportedly be released either in December 2023 or January 2024, according to current reports. However, the releases for both months are already scheduled. The entire release timetable for Telugu films will change as a result of Salaar’s change of location because Prabhas already has Kalki 2898 AD, a film with a stellar ensemble that includes Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone, scheduled for release in January.
As a result of occurrences when some of the movie’s footage leaked in between, director Prashanth Neel moved the entire production to a small town.
In the United States of America, where advance booking for Salaar began more than a month before the film’s premiere, the movie was likewise doing well. It had already sold tickets for over $500,000; the bookings will now be cancelled, and customers will receive refunds.
Along with a strong supporting cast, Salaar also features Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran as the film’s primary antagonist opposing Shruti Haasan and Prabhas. Sriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, and Jagapathi Babu all had significant parts.
