Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have relaunched their website using their royal titles Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The couple’s new website, sussex.com, has been launched to replace their previous site, archewell.com, and will provide further personal updates on the Duke and Duchess’ activities.
When you enter the website, you’re greeted with a large photo of the couple smiling and clapping at last year’s Invictus Games, overlaid with the Royal Coat of Arms and the caption “The office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” Links to the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions and their Sussex Royal website appear at the bottom of the page.
The move to rebrand Sussex was announced at Buckingham Palace in 2020 as “Sussex Royal” It happened after Day walked away from the title when it became controversial. Their departure from the royal family meant that the couple could use the titles Duke and Duchess, but not their Royal Highnesses.
Archewell was introduced after his retirement from royal duties and was named after his son Archie. It is a combination of the Greek words arch'' meaning
source of action”, and “well”, “a plentiful source or supply; a place we go to dig deep.”
If you follow the link to the Sussex Royal website, you’ll see a note that says: “This site was established in 2020 and sets out the work streams of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex prior to their move to the United States.”
The user is then redirected to sussex.com.
In the About channel, website says: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s firm is shaping the future through business and philanthropy.”
“This includes: The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, patronages, ventures, and organisations which receive the support of the couple, individually and/or together.”
Credit their accomplishments Other profiles detailing can also be found on the website, but these are not listed. Mention their royal roots.
Prince Harry is described as a “humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner,” while Meghan is described as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity” who has been named “one of the most influential women in the world” into a series of tables.
Harry’s profile primarily promotes his military activities and also mentions his memoir Spare, stating: ‘‘The Duke is the New York Times Bestselling author of Spare, a memoir of his life told with compassion, vulnerability, and unflinching honesty. Spare was the publishing industry’s fastest selling non-fiction book, selling more than 1.4 million copies on its first day of publication.’’
Meghan Markle ‘s profile mentions the book she published to raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire, as well as her childhood in California and the TV series SUITS, currently streaming on Netflix. Her starring role in the film is also detailed.
According to her profile, Meghan married Prince Harry in 2018 and became The Duchess of Sussex. “Meghan launched ‘Archetypes,’ a podcast that breaks records and examines the labels that exclude women, in 2022. “Archetypes” topped the rankings as the top podcast in 47 countries and debuted at number one in the US, UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand.
News Channel is better than the piece published on Archewell’s website, which states that the couple’s recent events are more of a personal journey.
That included Harry’s recent visit to Las Vegas to present Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward with the NFL’s Player of the Year award.
His appearance comes just hours after he briefly returned from England to visit his father King Charles after being diagnosed with cancer.
Less than 24 hours after the announcement about the royal family’s health was leaked to the media, he visited without Meghan Markle and their children. However, the meeting with his older brother, the Prince of Wales, did not take place, and Prince Harry met with his father for about 45 minutes at Clarence House.
The King’s slimmed-down monarchy is under pressure in ways not seen during his reign. The King has postponed all official duties due to the diagnosis, and the Princess of Wales has undergone abdominal surgery, which has put her on hiatus for the time being.
