The Wheel of Time, one of the most talked-about web series, has finally been published on OTT. The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 19th. Critics and fans from all over the world have praised the epic fantasy series starring Rosamund Pike for its visual splendour. The series is based on one of late author Robert Jordan’s most popular and enduring fantasy series novels. Anushka Sharma and R Madhavan, both from Bollywood, have worked on the series.
Both actors used their social media accounts to give fans a glimpse into the worlds of magic and imagination. “#TheWheelOfTime is turning and I can’t wait for you guys to see this amazing collab with @primevideoIN #Collab,” Anushka wrote on Twitter. “Sit back, as I take you on a journey to the world of #TheWheelOfTime. Super excited to show you my fun collab with @primevideoIN #collab,” she says. The fantasy series is available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The fantasy series will span 14 (plus one) volumes, all of which were first published in 1990. The novel follows Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful organisation of women who can use magic, in a magical world. She leads a group of four young people on a voyage throughout the world, believing that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon, a powerful figure who has the power to save or destroy the planet.
Joshua Stradowski, lvaro Morte, Marcus Rutherford, Zo Robins, Barney Harris, Madeleine Madden, and Daniel Henney also appear on the show.
