Steph Curry’s Historic Night Leads Warriors to Victory Over Rockets in NBA Cup

Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ guard, is a once-in-a-generation player. For all of his achievements as a three-point shooter and scorer, people often overlook his exceptional passing ability. Curry made basketball history as a passer on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets in the NBA Cup.

Curry moved up to 36th place on the NBA’s all-time assists list, surpassing Los Angeles Lakers star Jerry West, who had 6,238 assists. Curry currently leads the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets with five assists, so there is room for more. Curry will next pass Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday, who has 6,285 assists.

For whatever reason, Steph Curry’s Warriors hold a significant mental advantage against the Houston Rockets. Golden State presently has a 15-game winning streak dating back to March 17, 2021. It doesn’t matter if the Warriors are struggling or hurting; they always find a way to beat the Houston Rockets. With the way things are going in the fourth quarter, they’re on track to extend their winning run to 16 games.

Curry and the Warriors will benefit greatly from a win tonight in a variety of categories. Golden State will not only go to the NBA Cup, but will also win the season series against the Houston Rockets, who will most likely be close in the standings.
