Taylor Swift Confirms the End of ‘Eras Tour’ with Upcoming Dates

Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” is currently at its 100th show, but the end is in sight.

Swift announced from a stage in Liverpool, England tonight that the tour will end at the end of the year, ending speculation that more dates might be added.

“This is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December,” she said before her song, All Too Well.

“I once used to have hobbies,” she joked.

“You have done so much to be with us,” she continued. “You’ve made plans so far in advance. You planned what you were going to wear. You memorized lyrics. You got yourself here. You figured out parking. You figured out transportation, and I want to spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in that moment and being here with you, and just know I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us when this show reaches triple digits in shows. So thank you!”

Swift kicked off her sold-out tour in Arizona on March 17, 2023. It has topped $1 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.

The Eras Tour concert film has further increased box office sales since its release in October 2023, grossing an additional $261.6 million worldwide.

Swift’s announcement today was surprising in that she recently extended her roadshow; she added 15 dates to her final North American leg, including a six-day stop in Canada.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024,” she tweeted at the time of the added shows.
