Yesterday, Hyundai Motor India Limited released a few brand-new pictures of the redesigned Creta mid-size SUV. Several interesting information about this well-known SUV have been made public by the images, which also feature Shahrukh Khan, the brand’s longtime representative, and Deepika Padukone, its most recent ambassador. With the release of these new images, the firm has disclosed that, rather than choosing for a small facelift update, they have entirely redesigned the most popular SUV in its class.
Hyundai Creta 2024 Facelift:
It was previously speculated in 2022 that Hyundai Motor India might make its facelift debut at the Auto Expo 2023 in January of the following year for the Creta. The firm stated at the time that it would not be introducing the Indonesian makeover in India, therefore it decided not to forward with the debut. It declared that it is in the process of creating an entirely new design. A year later, the organization has finally released a massive teaser for this new upcoming SUV, which we have seen in numerous test mules across the nation.
Exterior Design of the New Creta Facelift:
First, based on the image Hyundai released, we can see that the next Creta has a completely new front fascia thanks to Hyundai’s extensive exterior update. This front fascia doesn’t appear to be a slightly modified version of the model from the previous year. Instead, it appears to be an entirely new design. We can see that the business was influenced by the recently released Santa Fe in foreign markets, and there are also signs of the Venue makeover.
Regarding the details of the redesigned front end, we can see that the automobile now has a lot more rectangular features and a considerably more squarish shape. The inverted L-shaped LED DRLs and the connected LED DRL light bar in the center are the primary features that catch our attention. Additionally, the front end receives a brand-new, SUV-only parametric front grille. A new pair of LED headlights that are placed vertically on both ends are also added to the vehicle. Rectangular components with an enormous skid plate on the bottom are also present on the front lower bumper.
Design of the rear end:
Moving on, the rear of the Creta has also undergone a significant upgrade much like the front. It now has all-new LED taillights with the same connected light bar in the center and inverted L form. Along with a complete redesign, the rear bumper now includes an extensive skid plate. The business has paid careful attention to every detail of the external design. It’s highly likely that this new design will give the business an even greater edge over competitors and help it maintain its position as the segment leader for a long time to come.
Redesign of Interior:
The firm has also disclosed an image of the new Creta facelift’s interior in addition to its outside. We haven’t seen the entirely new dashboard layout in any Hyundai car in the nation until this latest image. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen display, which connects to the 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, fills the dashboard’s center. These two huge screens are mounted in a molded housing design that has a highly contemporary and futuristic appearance.
In addition, we can see that a new rectangular element has been added to the left side of the new housing, and on the very left of this element is the newly designed air conditioning vent. Speaking of the AC vents, brand-new vents are situated close to the screens, and ambient lighting is visible to the left of them. Looking down even further, we can see that the vehicle will have a redesigned gear knob and new, modern-looking touch-based climate control buttons. It looks like the steering wheel is the same as the model that is going away.
Specifications of Engine:
The precise engine options that will be available with the Creta facelift are still unknown. The original engines will probably still be used, though. The 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a DCT gearbox, which produces about 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, will be the only new engine option added to the Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Seltos, and Kia Carens.
