Veteran actor Arun Govil who played the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan’, received the invitation to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in the temple town of Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya.
“I am happy that I received an invitation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, and I am looking forward to going there (Ayodhya) to witness it and for the Ram Lalla darshan,” Arun Govil said in an interview with ANI. This is a huge opportunity.
“I feel fortunate that this has occurred during my lifetime; everything is going great, there’s a great vibe and energy, and we’re all happy,” he remarked.
The actor credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this lifetime event, saying he has worked and spread positive spirit across the nation.
“Given the way Modi ji has worked and distributed the energy, I think we should give him the credit if we have to,” Govil stated, as reported by ANI. “I have accepted that whenever such work is done, it is not done by one person.”
“Modi ji is the one who has dispersed all of the wonderful energy. The remainder is the result of group effort; many people have made sacrifices and are still working, having put in a great deal of work over many years. So, whatever is happening, it’s a lifetime event,” he continued.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Numerous VVIP guests from India and overseas have received invitations to take part in the auspicious occasion in Ayodhya as a result of the event’s considerable attention.
One week before to the major celebration, on January 16, Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla (Infant Lord Ram) in Ayodhya will commence.
A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will carry out the primary rituals in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. The Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.
There will also be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where food will be provided for thousands of devotees. In order to accommodate the thousands of travelers that will be arriving in the Uttar Pradesh temple town for the ceremonial consecration, many tent cities are being built in Ayodhya.
According to the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, accommodations would be provided for between 10,000 and 15,000 individuals. In preparation for the expected influx of guests during the major event, local authorities are putting more security measures in place and organizing logistics to make sure that everyone who attends has a seamless and spiritually enriching experience.
