On September 21 in New York, Microsoft will host a special event where it will introduce several brand-new devices. Perhaps the Surface Laptop Studio 2 will be one of them. It is rumored to attend the presentation alongside the Surface Laptop Go 3 and Surface Go 4.
Features of the Display and Hardware
However, before the big day, a report from the German blog WinFuture.de gives us an inside look at what the Surface Laptop Studio 2 will include. Similar to the previous model, the new computer will have a 14.4-inch screen, but with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1600 resolution for an especially smooth appearance.
Options for power and graphics
There are two processors available for the Surface Laptop Studio 2: the Core i7-13700H and the Core i7-13800H. These processors have 14 cores and 20 threads, making them highly powerful. You can pick between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 if graphics are your thing. But you may get the base model, which has Intel’s integrated Iris Xe GPU, if you don’t require a fancy graphics card.
Improved Memory and Battery Life
Additionally, according to the rumor, Microsoft may permit you to have up to 64GB of memory in this new laptop, which is twice as much memory as was available in the previous model. Additionally, a USB Type-A connector and microSD cards are options.
According to rumors, the Surface Laptop Studio 2’s 58Wh battery may operate for up to 19 hours on a single charge. Although there are some additional color options available, the outer look is largely unchanged.
According to the leaks, the item should go on sale on October 3 and start at 2,249 euros (about Rs. 2 lakh) for the base model.
Surface Go 4
That’s not all, though. Also receiving interest is The Surface Go 4. This time, it might cost a little more, perhaps $500. That’s because 8GB of memory is more in line with current laptop standards, and it appears like Microsoft is skipping the 4GB RAM model.
Windows Central claims that the Surface Go 4 will also be introduced on September 21 and will begin shipping in October. So, if you’ve been holding off on replacing your outdated Surface Go, your wait won’t be as long anymore.
