The yearly recap of Apple Music has finally been added to the app

Apple Music’s highly anticipated yearly recap feature, Replay 2024, has officially returned, bringing users a fresh way to relive their favorite music moments from the year. Unlike in previous years, this time Replay is directly accessible within the app, provided your iPhone runs iOS 18.1 or later. You can find the feature conveniently placed under the Home, New, and Search tabs. For those on older iOS versions, the Apple Replay site remains available to check out your yearly stats.

Replay 2024 has been enhanced with a range of new insights, giving users a deeper dive into their music habits. You can now see whether you’ve earned a spot among the top 500 or 1,000 listeners for a specific artist or genre, an exciting addition for music enthusiasts. Another highlight is the tracking of your most extended streak of consecutive days using Apple Music, alongside breakdowns of your top artists, albums, and songs for each month throughout the year.

For more granular details, Replay now includes data on how many consecutive months you’ve been listening to your favorite artist and marks the specific dates when your top song, artist, or album of the year entered your playlist rotation. However, if shared accounts have skewed your stats—perhaps due to your kids or a partner adding unexpected entries to your recap—Apple Music business manager David Emery has shared tips to ensure your results reflect your personal tastes more accurately.

Artists on Apple Music aren’t left out, as Replay 2024 introduces new tools tailored for them. They can now view and share detailed statistics such as total listening minutes, listener counts, the cities where their music was most popular, and even their most-Shazamed track of the year.
