Samsung has announced the launch date for its Galaxy M35 in India, set for July 17. Along with the launch date, the company has revealed several key specifications of the device, including details about its processor, display, camera configuration, and battery capacity. The Galaxy M35 will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset, the same processor that was utilized in last year’s Galaxy A54.
The smartphone will boast a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. This display will incorporate the “Infinity-O” design, which refers to the punch-hole setup for the front-facing camera, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience.
In a first for the Galaxy M-series, the M35 will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, ensuring enhanced durability. Additionally, Samsung has opted to integrate the fingerprint sensor with the power button, rather than using an in-display fingerprint sensor, which could offer a more ergonomic and responsive user experience.
On the rear, the Galaxy M35 will sport a triple camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For taking selfies, the device is equipped with a 13MP front camera. The phone also comes with Samsung’s Nightography feature, designed to enhance photo quality in low-light conditions, and the Astrolapse feature, which allows users to capture time-lapse videos of the night sky.
The Galaxy M35 will be available in two variants: one with 6GB of RAM and the other with 8GB of RAM. Both variants will offer up to 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand memory up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging.
The device will be equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery, supporting 25W charging, similar to other models in its range. This large battery capacity should ensure extended usage time, making it an appealing choice for users who prioritize battery life.
In summary, the Samsung Galaxy M35 is set to debut with a robust set of features, including a powerful Exynos 1380 chipset, a high-quality Super AMOLED display, versatile camera capabilities, and substantial battery life, making it a promising addition to Samsung’s mid-range smartphone lineup.
