Head coach of the University of Utah women’s soccer team Hideki Nakada has scheduled six games for his squad for the spring, three of which will be played at Ute Field. The games will take place in March and April.
On March 2, the Utes will open their schedule at home against the Utah Royals, who feature former Utah goalkeeper Carly Nelson. The public will not be able to watch this match. The Utes and Royals will square off in the spring for the second time this year; the first was in 2020.
The Utes have two games scheduled: on March 23, they will travel to Las Vegas to play UNLV and California Baptist; on March 30, Nakada’s squad will return home to play Utah State. The matchup between Utah and the Aggies is a repeat of the contest that Utah won on August 24, when Taliana Kaufusi scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory.
The Utes’ final spring home game against Weber State is scheduled for April 6. The following day, on April 13, they will travel to Provo to play BYU. Utah’s final two home games will be free to enter.
