Technology fanatics gather in bunches every September to learn what Apple has planned for the upcoming iPhone model. We now know the precise date of Apple’s September event this year as well.
The event will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on September 12. Both the Apple TV app and Apple’s website will broadcast it. The firm has given it the name “Wonderlust”.
At the event, what will Apple reveal?
The iPhone 15 is definitely going to be revealed by Apple at this event. Four different phone models will be available in this year’s range.
- Phone 15
- iPhone Plus 15
- iPhone 15 Pro
- (Possibly called “Ultra”) iPhone 15 Pro Max
All models will leave the lightning port in favour of the global USB-C standard, which has long been accepted on Android phones.
With the Series 9 improving on the Series 8 and the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra on the way, the Apple Watch is also anticipated to receive an update.
On the software front, Apple ought to reveal the dates for the launch of iOS 17 and watchOS 10.
The most recent Apple event took place in June during WWDC23. The 15-inch M2 MacBook Air, Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra, Mac Pro with M2 Ultra, and Apple Vision Pro, their first “spatial operating system” gadget, were all revealed at that event.
The lack of enthusiasm around this year’s September event could be explained by the fact that not many improvements have been made to the iPhone as a whole. Compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, the Pro version only offers a port, a slightly better camera, and a lighter design.
The mobile industry has seen a change in recent years thanks to folding and flip phones, which are starting to turn some customers away from Apple’s more streamlined approach. It won’t happen this year, but it won’t be long until Apple follows that trend.
