Where and How to Watch the 2024 Emmy Nominations

It’s that time again. The nominations for the 76th Emmy Awards will be announced in a live ceremony on Wednesday, July 17, at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Starting at 8:30 a.m. Pacific/11:30 a.m. Eastern, Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph will read the nominees, joined by Television Academy president Cris Abrego.

A live stream of the nominations will also be available on the Television Academy website and its Facebook and Instagram channels.

ABC will broadcast the 76th Emmy Awards live on Sunday, September 15, from 8-11 p.m. Eastern/5-8 p.m. Pacific. The participation period this time is from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024. The host of the ceremony has yet to be decided.

Of course, these will be the second Emmy Awards in the 2024 calendar year, following FOX’s 75th anniversary ceremony in January, which was postponed due to the strike. That night, HBO’s now-ended Succession and FX’s The Bear led all shows with six awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Comedy Series, respectively, while Netflix’s Beef won five trophies, including Outstanding Limited Series or Anthology Series. Anthony Anderson hosted the show.
