Salman Khan’s much awaited blockbuster Tiger 3, which opens this Sunday during the Diwali weekend, is finally happening. With its commercials and songs, the newest spy thriller from Spy Universe has clearly connected with the public, as seen by the enormous demand for advance tickets at the ticket windows.
Given the current situation, we can expect Tiger 3 to surpass Bharat, which earned Rs 42.30 crore on its first day, and become Salman Khan’s greatest opening film. In fact, if the material captures the interest of the viewer, it might easily cross the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. But, it will have a difficult few days at the box office, with two challenging ones ahead of it: one in which India will play in the semi-final, and another if India reaches to the final.
Top grossing films for Salman Khan:

The film, which was directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baaraat, Fan, Shuddh Desi Romance, and Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl fame, also features important roles for Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, with cameos by Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan. It is reportedly the most costly movie that YRF has ever funded.
