Honor has officially introduced its latest innovations, unveiling not only the 300 series smartphones but also two new additions to its Magicbook laptop lineup: the X16 Plus and X14 Plus. Both devices are powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i5-220H processor and offer memory configurations of either 16 GB or 32 GB RAM, coupled with 1 TB of storage, ensuring robust performance for a variety of tasks.
The Magicbook X16 Plus 2025, as it is formally called, boasts a sleek 16-inch display and an impressively slim design, measuring under 18 mm and weighing 1.79 kg. Its screen features a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, supports a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and delivers brightness levels of up to 430 nits. The laptop is powered by a 75 Wh battery, which supports 65W fast charging for quick top-ups. Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports (Gen 1 and Gen 2), an HDMI port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device also includes a backlit keyboard with a numpad and a responsive 5-finger touchpad.
The smaller Magicbook X14 Plus 2025 offers a 14-inch display with an enhanced resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, housed in a compact design with a 16 mm profile and a lightweight 1.34 kg body. Due to its size, the X14 Plus is equipped with a slightly smaller 60 Wh battery but retains the same 65W fast-charging capability. The keyboard lacks a numpad but maintains the same connectivity options, backlit features, and touchpad functionality as its larger counterpart.
Both laptops come pre-installed with Windows 11 Home and are equipped with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC for seamless connectivity. Available in Starry Gray and Light Sea Blue, the Magicbook X14 Plus is priced at CNY 4,899 or CNY 5,199, while the X16 Plus costs CNY 5,099 or CNY 5,399. Pre-orders have begun in China, with shipping scheduled for December 12.
