Do you enjoy wrestling but find it difficult to focus? A resolution is approaching.
Today, the WWE and X announced a new alliance that will see five-minute matches available only on the X platform.
WWE stars will appear in the weekly video series; however, none were indicated in the original release. The “new format for high-paced timed matches,” according to the WWE, will start in the spring.
The new five-minute portions are a result of a $5 billion agreement between Netflix and the WWE for Raw, the company’s weekly wrestling program. This agreement will let Netflix to stream Raw just in the US and internationally. Smackdown, the other weekly show in the wrestling business, and pay-per-view events held outside of the United States will also be available on Netflix.
The WWE’s WrestleMania Kickoff event began with the announcement of the X contract. A preview of the 40th annual WrestleMania, which will take place in Philadelphia in April, is provided by The Kickoff.
