After several leaks and teasers, Xiaomi is finally ready to introduce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The most exciting version of the Xiaomi 14 series will be launched on the Chinese market on February 22nd. That was two days before the company’s MWC event was held on Sunday, February 25th. At MWC, the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra globally. The next flagship will be announced on February 22nd at 7pm local time in China.
The brand announced the release date and took the opportunity to unveil a black and white smartphone. The images include some camera samples and key specifications of the upcoming flagship smartphone. In addition to the new smartphone, Xiaomi also confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.
Key specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra
Xiaomi 14 Ultra mainly inherits the design of its predecessor. The Ultra series features a large circular camera island on the back. Xiaomi 14 Ultra retains its design and is equipped with a total of four cameras. The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture, laser autofocus, and OIS. It is supported by a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. There will also be a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide snapper. The phone is also expected to have a ToF 3D depth sensor.
The Ultra also features a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. It is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has a center cutout for the selfie camera. The phone comes with a large 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging.
Only a few days left until the 14th Ultra begins. They expect Xiaomi to continue revealing details about its next flagship camera.
